Federated Login Experience for LastPass Business Users

    Once a LastPass Business admin has set up federated login for an organization, new users are provisioned with a LastPass account that allows them to log in to LastPass with their existing company-issued account (AD FS, Azure AD, Okta, Google Workspace, PingOne, PingFederate, or OneLogin) – no separate master password required!

    Note: Federated login does not work via mobile web browsers (Android and iOS) and via web login (without the LastPass browser extension installed). For more information, please see What are the limitations for LastPass users with federated login?

    About master password resets

    Important: As a federated user, you are unable to reset your master password within LastPass Account Settings – this must be done by your LastPass admin or within your Active Directory environment. If your master password is ever reset (either by an admin, or yourself due to a forced master password reset), your account will be converted to a non-federated user account.
