Having trouble downloading attachments?
Make sure you are logged in using the LastPass browser extension, desktop app, or mobile app. Attachments cannot be opened from the online vault in a web browser (i.e., logging in to https://www.lastpass.com).
About this task:
Make sure that the LastPass browser extension has the binary component installed. You can check if it is installed by doing the following:
- Click the LastPass icon
in your browser toolbar.
- In the new extension menu experience, select the Account tab. Otherwise, in the previous experience, select Account Options OR < your username > at the bottom of the menu.
- Select About LastPass.
- In the Binary Component section, one of the following will be listed:
- True = installed
- False = not installed but if desired, click Enable Native Messaging to install it. You can also install it by using the LastPass Universal Installer.
