How do I add an account to the LastPass Authenticator?
You can add a new account for using multifactor authentication via the LastPass Authenticator for accessing your vault, SSO apps/websites/workstations, or adding a third-party account.
I want to use the LastPass Authenticator to access my vault
If you are pairing your LastPass account so that you are prompted for multifactor authentication via the LastPass Authenticator to use push notification, TOTP codes, text message (SMS passcode) or phone call (Call Me), or YubiKey when accessing your LastPass vault, complete the steps in Set Up LastPass to Use the LastPass Authenticator.
I want to use the LastPass Authenticator to access SSO apps/websites/workstations set up by my LastPass admin
If you are part of a LastPass Business account that uses passwordless login (i.e., biometrics instead of entering a password) to access SSO apps/websites/workstations, your LastPass admin will add you to a policy that will automatically send you an activation email.
Follow the instructions to activate passwordless login so you can use biometrics (face recognition or fingerprint identification) via the LastPass Authenticator instead of manually entering your master password to access SSO apps and/or workstations.
I want use the LastPass Authenticator to access a third-party app or website
If you are adding an account associated with a third-party app or website not associated with LastPass (e.g., GoTo account) so that you are prompted to use multifactor authentication when signing in to it, you can add the account directly within the LastPass Authenticator.
