How do I add and manage passwords in the LastPass app for Android?
Using the LastPass app for Android, you can create new site password entries, or manage your existing entries for websites and apps.
Use the action menu
From your vault, select the Vault Menu then select Passwords and choose from the options within the action menu.
About this task: Select a password entry, then use the action menu to choose from the following options:
- Launch your site in the in-app LastPass Browser or your default browser.
- View the password entry and credentials.
- Edit the password entry fields.
- Show Password to view the text of the existing password.
- Copy Username to your clipboard.
- Copy Password to your clipboard.
- Copy URL to your clipboard.
- Add Copy Notifications to display a "Copy Username" and "Copy Password" notification to be used when you navigate to that specific app or website.
- Share Item to share the password entry via email.
- Add Shortcut to Home to add a shortcut app icon on your device Home screen that launches this site.
- Delete to delete the password.
Add a new password
- Open the app, then log in with your email address and master password.
- Tap the Vault Menu icon
in the upper-left of the screen, then select Passwords.
- Tap the Add icon
in the lower-right of the screen.
- You can select a pre-populated service, or tap Add New Password to create your own.
- Fill in all of the information you want to store. If desired, you can set your new password as a Favorite, Require Reprompt, Never Autofill, and/or enable AutoLogin.
- When finished, tap Save in the upper-right of the screen.
