How do I set up biometrics and mobile account recovery on iOS for LastPass?
When using the LastPass app for iOS, you can set up and use Face ID or Touch ID for account recovery in case your master password is ever forgotten.
Note:
You must log in to the LastPass app with your email address and master password before you can set up account recovery using biometrics.

- Open the LastPass app on your iOS device.
- Enter your username and master password.
- Tap Log In.
- Choose from the following options:
If this: Then do this: You're logging in for the first time - Enable the Use Touch ID setting.
- Select OK to allow Touch ID for LastPass.
- Touch the Home button lightly (don't press) to scan your fingerprint.
- Enable the Use Touch ID for account recovery setting.
- Touch the Home button lightly (don't press) to scan your fingerprint.
You skipped enabling Touch ID previously, and want to enable it now - Select .
- Enable the Use Touch ID setting.
- Select OK to allow Touch ID for LastPass.
- Touch the Home button lightly (don't press) to scan your fingerprint.
- Enable the Account Recovery setting.
- Touch the Home button lightly (don't press) to scan your fingerprint.
Results: You have now enabled Touch ID for account recovery for the
LastPass app for iOS.
