How do I update my payment and billing information?

    You can update your payment information and/or your billing information for your LastPass account. The steps for updating your information will vary depending on whether you purchased your LastPass subscription via credit/debit card or on a mobile device.

    Update your payment information

    You can update your credit/debit card information for your LastPass account.

    Attention: If you are not seeing the option to update your payment information, it means that automatic renewal is not enabled, and you will need to renew your subscription no later than 30 days before the end of your billing period, or repurchase after your subscription expires.
    Before you begin: Determine what type of LastPass account you have before proceeding:
    About this task: Update your payment information as follows:
    1. Log in to LastPass and access your vault by doing either of the following:
      • In your web browser toolbar, click the LastPass icon active LastPass icon and select Open My Vault.
      • Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your email address and master password.
    2. Do one of the following, depending on your account:
      LastPass Account Type Instructions
      LastPass Business
      1. Select Admin Console in the left navigation.
        • For the new Admin Console – Select the user account drop-down menu in the upper left of the toolbar, then select Billing.
        • For the old Admin Console – Go to Settings > Company Profile > Payment Method.
      2. Enter your payment information in the secure form. Be sure to fill out all required fields.
      3. Click Save Changes.
      Teams
      1. Select Admin Console in the left navigation.
      2. Go to Settings > Company Profile > Update Payment Information.
      3. Enter your payment information in the secure form. Be sure to fill out all required fields.
      4. Click Save Changes.
      Families
      1. Select Manage Family in the left navigation.
      2. Go to My Account > Update Payment Method.
        Note: You must be the Family Owner to update payment information.
      3. Enter your payment information in the secure form. Be sure to fill out all required fields.
      4. Click Save Changes.
      Premium
      1. Select Account Settings in the left navigation.
      2. In the Account Information section, click My Account > Update Payment Method.
      3. Enter your payment information in the secure form. Be sure to fill out all required fields.
      4. Click Save Changes.
    Results: You have updated your payment information for your LastPass account.

    Update your billing information

    You can update your billing information, which includes your personal and billing address information.

    Before you begin: Determine what type of LastPass account you have before proceeding:
    About this task: Update your billing information as follows:
    1. Log in to LastPass and access your vault by doing either of the following:
      • In your web browser toolbar, click the LastPass icon active LastPass icon and select Open My Vault.
      • Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your email address and master password.
    2. Depending on your LastPass business or personal account type, do one of the following:

      LastPass Business
      1. Select Admin Console in the left navigation.
        • For the new Admin Console – Select the user account drop-down menu in the upper left of the toolbar, then select Company Profile.
        • For the old Admin Console – Go to Settings > Company Profile > Payment Method.
      2. In the Account Information section, update your billing information. Be sure to fill out all required fields.
      3. Click Save Changes.
      Teams

      2. Go to Settings > Team Account.
      3. In the Account Information section, update your billing information. Be sure to fill out all required fields.
      4. Click Save Changes.
      Families
      1. Select Manage Family in the left navigation.
      2. Go to My Account > Update Billing Information.
        Note: If you are redirected to the Family Manager Dashboard, it means that you cannot update billing information, and you must contact the Family Owner to update.
      3. Enter your personal and billing address information in the secure form. Be sure to fill out all required fields.
      4. Click Save billing information or Save Changes.
      Premium
      1. Select Account Settings in the left navigation.
      2. In the Account Information section, click My Account > Update Billing Information.
      3. Enter your personal and billing address information in the secure form. Be sure to fill out all required fields.
      4. Click Save billing information or Save Changes.
    Results: You have updated your personal and billing address information for your LastPass account.
