Log in to sites using LastPass
Once you have installed and logged in to the LastPass web browser extension, you can automatically log in to sites with autofilled credentials, or you can manually select a username and password you have stored in your vault.

Log in with autofilled credentials
About this task: If Autofill is enabled for your sites, you can log in with your login credentials filled in automatically.
- In your web browser toolbar, click the inactive LastPass icon
.
- Enter your email address and master password, then click Log In.
- If prompted, complete steps for multifactor authentication (if it is enabled for your account).
- In your web browser, navigate to your desired site.
- Check that your desired credential is displayed in the username field, then proceed to log into the site.

Log in from within the LastPass vault
- Log in to LastPass and access your vault by doing either of the following:
- Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your email address and master password.
- In your web browser toolbar, click the LastPass icon
and click Open My Vault.
- Locate your desired site within your vault, then click Launch to log in using the credentials autofilled by LastPass.
Manually log in to sites
About this task: If you have navigated to a site that is not secure (HTTP), or have disabled autofill, or just want to select a different set of credentials for matching sites, you can log in to sites manually.
- Navigate to your desired site.
- Select one of the following options:

- Hover over your desired credentials and select Fill.
- Proceed to log in to the site.
Using the in-field active LastPass icon - Click the active LastPass in-field icon
within the username or password field.
- Select your desired set of login credentials.
- Proceed to log in to the site.
- Click the LastPass web browser extension icon
Are you encountering a warning that the login form is insecure?
LastPass does not support the use of autofill on HTTP sites on initial page load, only HTTPS sites support autofill when the page is loaded.
