Pulse Secure VPN configuration for the LastPass Universal Proxy RADIUS protocol

    About this task:
    Note: Only Password Authentication Protocol (PAP) and Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP) modes are supported by the service. Make sure that either PAP or CHAP is enabled and used.
    1. Log in to the Pulse Connect Secure admin console.
    2. Select Authentication > Auth. Servers in the top toolbar.
    3. In the New: drop-down menu, select RADIUS Server.
    4. Click New Server....
    5. In the New RADIUS Server window, Primary Server group box, set the following fields:
      Name
      Enter a name for your RADIUS server.
      NAS-Identifier
      Enter the IP address of your Pulse Secure port.
      RADIUS Server
      Enter the IP address of the LastPass Universal Proxy.
      Authentication Port
      1812
      Shared Secret
      Enter the RADIUS shared secret, which is configured on the LastPass Universal Proxy.
      Accounting Port
      1813
      Timeout
      60
      Retries
      1
    6. Click Save Changes.
    Results: Your Pulse Secure VPN is now configured to use RADIUS protocol for authentication.
