Set up SMS account recovery for LastPass
As one of your master password recovery options, you can set up SMS account recovery by adding a mobile number to your account to receive a verification text message in case you every forget your master password. Using this option as a means of account recovery will trigger the master password recovery flow as long at least one of your browsers has captured a Recovery One Time Password (which is created by logging in to the LastPass web browser extension and/or online web vault at least once).
Notice: The phone number you set in the instructions below (within your vault's Account Settings) is not the phone number used for the Call Me feature (i.e., using a phone call as a multifactor authentication method for the LastPass Authenticator app). The Call Me feature uses the phone number you set as a backup method for sending security codes when setting up the LastPass Authenticator app as your multifactor authentication option for your vault.
How to set up
Before you begin: This recovery option must be set up in order to be used during the account recovery process if you need to reset your

Results: You have successfully set up SMS account recovery LastPass, and you are now logged out of your LastPass account.
