Step #2: Provisioning
Define the scope of provisioning and what it will entail in your deployment.
Summary
- Provisioning is the initial phase when you invite your users to LastPass from your organization.
- During provisioning, your users' email addresses will serve as the primary identifying attribute, to which you will add other attributes and conditions to tighten your security measures for identification and authentication.
- You will need to log in as a LastPass admin to your LastPass Business account, then assign the provisioned users to the "Require use of LastPass MFA" policy, which will prompt users to set up and enroll the LastPass Authenticator app the next time they log in to their LastPass vault (instructions here).
