Step #7: Create a Single-Page Application for LastPass to Enable Login Using Okta

    Create an app integration in Okta, and configure it to be enabled for login with Okta.

    1. Log in to your Okta Admin portal with your administrator account credentials.
    2. In the Okta admin portal, under Applications in the left navigation, select Applications.
    3. Click Create App Integration.
    4. As the Sign-in method, select OIDC - OpenID Connect.
    5. As the Application type, select Single-Page Application.
    6. Click Next.
    7. Under General Settings, enter the following information:

      App integration name
      LastPass Okta Login

    8. Under Sign-in redirect URIs, add the following redirect URIs:


        If your account is in the EU, also enter:

      • lastpass-desktop-client://windows
      • lastpass-browser-extension://ie
      • lastpass-mobile-client://android
      • lastpass-mobile-client://ios
      • moz-extension://*
      • chrome-extension://hdokiejnpimakedhajhdlcegeplioahd
      • chrome-extension://bbcinlkgjjkejfdpemiealijmmooekmp
      • chrome-extension://hnjalnkldgigidggphhmacmimbdlafdo

    9. Under Assignments, select the required Controlled access.
    10. Click Save when finished.
    Results: You have enabled login with Okta for your single-page app.

    What to do next: If in Step #5.3: Add a new Access Policy for the Authorization Server, you selected Assign to - The following clients, complete the following steps:
    1. Return to the Okta admin portal, and under the Security tab in the left navigation, select API.
    2. Go to the Authorization Server tab and select your Authorization Server. Then click the Access Policies tab.
    3. Click the Edit button of your LastPass access policy.
    4. In the Edit Policy dialog box, in the Assign to - The following clients field, start typing the name of your LastPass Okta login app that you have just created. Once the entry of the app appears, select it.
    5. Click Update Policy.
