Where is my data stored?

LastPass has two data centers located in the United States (US) – one in Grand Rapids, Michigan and the other in Las Vegas, Nevada.

By default, when a new LastPass account is created (regardless of account type), both the Vault Data and Account Data are stored in the United States. If you have a LastPass Premium, Families, or Teams account, your Vault Data will remain stored in the United States and cannot be moved.

LastPass Business account holders can request that their Vault Data be stored in Canada, Europe, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, or India instead of the United States. Alternatively, if your LastPass Business account's Vault Data is already being stored in Canada, Europe, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, or India, you can make the request to change the storage location back to the United States. Regardless of your location, you will always have access to the LastPass Service from anywhere when connected to the Internet.
