Where is my LastPass vault data stored locally on my computer?

    Your LastPass vault data (e.g., URLs, usernames and site passwords, secure notes, form fill items) is stored locally on your computer, and the storage location is dependent on the operating system(s) and web browser(s) you use.

    Windows data storage

    Web browser Instructions to locate data
    Chrome Run %LocalAppData% then go to Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\databases\chrome-extension_hdokiejnpimakedhajhdlcegeplioahd_0
    Firefox Navigate to either location:
    • Run %UserProfile% then go to AppData\LocalLow\LastPass OR
    • Run %UserProfile% then go to AppData\Local Settings\Application Data\LastPass
    Edge Run %LocalAppData% then go to Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe
    Opera Run %LocalAppData% then go to Opera Software\Opera Stable\Cache

    Mac data storage

    Go to ~/Library/Containers/com.lastpass.LastPass/Data/Library/Application Support/LastPass/

    If you are unable to locate the Library folder, you may not have the LastPass binary component installed or the Library is hidden. To reveal the Library, do the following:
    1. Go to Finder > Go > Go to Folder.
    2. Enter ~/Library in the field.
    3. Navigate to Containers/com.lastpass.LastPass/Data/Library/Application Support/LastPass/
