I've deleted cookies and history and restarted everything. I still can't get it to reinstall. I can install it on other browsers though. I'm getting could not load Javascript 'web-client-content-script.js'
Hi @User17379841471614095578 (Customer)
Welcome to the LastPass Community.
There may be an issue with permissions in your version of Edge:
If you don't know how to manually enable javascript, you can also reinstall Edge itself, then re-install LastPass.
Also please be sure you are installing the latest version of LastPass directly from us or in your device's app store.

The LastPass Chrome extension breaks webpages by not respecting the html attribute `autocomplete="off"` in addition to adding the erroneous html attribute `disabled="false"` (note the double qoutes), which evaluates to true. In addition, the extension ignores the documented attribute `data-lpignore="true"`.
This problem appears when using web-components with input fields in them, in effect making websites completely unusable. As a developer, it is very frustration to have customers complain about our page not working, when it is LastPass which messes up.
I'm aware it is possible for users to go into their LastPass settings and enable "Respect autocomplete=false", but it is not an acceptable option for us to notify all our customers that they need to configure LastPass in an specific way.
When I load websitesk, I see only tht html (along the right) and not the site. Doesn't happen consistently. If I refresh, the page loads properly. If I use Firefox there is no issue. This is only on Chrome and the LastPass Chrome extension. All over the internet including the LastPass forum it appears this is aknown issue - people report this issue and a variety of problems in the back end of code.
This never happened for years and then suddenly started perhaps 6 months ago.
I can disable my extension but I prefer to have it on as it serves a purpose.
What can I/should I do? I have the latest Last Pass update.

We have determined that this is due to the LastPass extension injecting the LastPass autofill icon onto the page. If you disable LastPass or disable the autofill icon, we stop seeing the error. We want our users to be able to use a password manager. Since I am not the customer and do not have a paid membership, how do we engage lastpass when their extension doesn't play nicely with our webpage?

Hello @User17343871599988428876 (Customer)
Welcome to the LastPass Community.
This is an issue we are aware of and currently working to resolve. At this time I don't have an exact ETA, however it is of very high priority.
Thanks for your patience.

but it doesn't work for passwords.
When I click the wrench icon for passwords, the box doesn't appear properly. Instead, the information is displayed in a messy line from the top left corner of the screen. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks!

I have checked the "Log out after this many minutes of inactivity" box and set it to 30 min and it is constantly getting reset back to default of unchecked (which is a poor "default setting", IMO).
I searched this discussions and one answer was it could be due to cookies/cache/browser settings being reset. I have not made any changes. Do these extension settings sync between installs? I have LastPass browser extension on multiple computers (Mac and multiple PCs). Is the change being overwritten by another computer's settings being uploaded? That would be pretty poor if an older config could overwrite a newer config.
Same issue. I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with Google Chrome phasing out 3rd party cookies and the only thing that's going to solve this is a software update from LastPass. LastPass uses cookies to store extension settings.

When I log out of LastPass in my browser (Firefox), the icon remains visible but clicking on it no longer shows any kind of menu, just a small sliver of an empty menu. This means that I can't log back in. I discovered that the browser plugin begins to work again after logging into the LastPass website. I do not know how these are related, but the current behaviour is frustrating. Uninstalling and re-installing the plugin does not solve the problem. Does anyone have a fix?
For some reason, after logging on to the web version instead, the plugin started to work again.

How can I stop the LP extension in MS Edge from nagging me to "Improve my security score"? I know I have some duplicate passwords in the vault and intend to fix that someday. But in the meantime, LP shows the yellow extension icon and makes me click 3 times to open the password search -- once to display the nag, once to dismiss that message, and once more to display the search window. Help!
Looks like I have the same issue
