    About deleted items

    Once a password, secure note, or other item has been deleted from your LastPass vault, it is moved to your Deleted Items folder.

    You can manually purge these within 30 days of their deletion date; otherwise, LastPass will permanently delete these items automatically after 30 days. Alternatively, you can restore deleted items within 30 days of the date they were deleted.

    Permanently delete a single item

    Permanently delete individual items.

    1. In your web browser toolbar, select the inactive LastPass icon inactive LastPass icon.
    2. Enter your email address and your master password, then select Log In.
    3. Select the active LastPass icon active LastPass icon in your toolbar, then LastPass Vault.
    4. Select Advanced Options > View deleted items in the left navigation menu.
    5. Hover over your deleted item, then select vault Delete icon.

      Delete a single item

    6. When prompted, select Yes to confirm.
    Results: You have deleted your item permanently.

    Permanently delete multiple deleted items

    Permanently delete multiple items at once.

    1. Log in to LastPass and access your vault by doing either of the following:
      • In your web browser toolbar, select active LastPass icon and select Vault.
      • Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your email address and master password.
    2. Select Advanced Options > View deleted items in the left navigation menu.
    3. Select each item you want to delete.
    4. Use the Actions drop-down menu and select Purge.

    5. When prompted, select Yes to confirm.
    Results: You have deleted your selected items permanently.

    Permanently delete all items

    Permanently delete all items in your Deleted Items folder.

    1. Log in to LastPass and access your vault by doing either of the following:
      • In your web browser toolbar, select active LastPass icon and select Vault.
      • Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your email address and master password.
    2. Select Advanced Options > View deleted items in the left navigation menu.
    3. In the top navigation menu, select Permanently Delete All.

    4. When prompted, select Yes to confirm.
    Results: You have deleted all items permanently.
