    Delete a passkey

    In some cases, you may want to delete a passkey. You can easily delete a passkey either through your browser extension or your vault.

    Important: When you delete a passkey from your LastPass vault, the passkey is not deleted from the settings of the related website. You will not be able to log in to that website using a passkey unless you create and save a new passkey for it.
    Restriction: You cannot restore a passkey if you deleted it.

    Delete a single passkey

    You can delete a passkey from the LastPass browser extension or from within your vault.

    While logged in to LastPass, you can delete a passkey any of the following ways:
    Delete MethodInstructions
    LastPass browser extension
    1. Select active LastPass icon in your toolbar.
    2. Use the Search field to locate your desired passkey.
    3. Select extension More Options icon for your passkey, then select Delete.
    4. When prompted, select Delete to confirm.
    From within your vault
    1. Locate your desired passkey in your vault.
    2. On the item, select vault Delete icon.
    3. When prompted, select Yes to confirm.
    Results: You have deleted your passkey

    Delete multiple passkeys

    You can delete multiple passkeys from within your vault.

    1. Log in to LastPass and access your vault by doing either of the following:
      • In your web browser toolbar, select active LastPass icon and select Vault.
      • Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your email address and master password.
    2. Select Passkeys in the left navigation menu.
    3. Hover over each item and check the box in the upper-right hand corner to select it.
    4. Use the Actions drop-down menu and select Delete.

    5. When prompted, select Yes to confirm.
    Results: You have deleted your selected passkeys.
